About MACS

In the early days of 1989, a group of practising company secretaries (with diversified professional backgrounds in law, accountancy and business management) mooted the idea for the formation of a national body to represent company secretaries, regardless of their professional backgrounds who were either practising on their own or in employment.

The vision of MACS is to be the integrated national body of professional company secretaries in service, upholding the vision of a developed Malaysia nation.

To inculcate professionalism in company secretaries of Malaysia

To generate market driven professionals in company secretaryship who meet the needs of all sectors of the Malaysian corporate society and to participate in the mainstream of industry activities in the country.

To generate, guide and nurture high quality graduates in company secretaryship who are able to provide value added services in a customer driven market; delivered through efficient service delivery systems.
